People’s Corner at Thomasville, AL (built b.1902)

This building was constructed in 1902 to house Andrew’s Hardware. It later became People’s Drug Store, a popular town meeting spot, until it closed in the early 1990s. During a renovation in 1993, the downstairs was turned into a small restaurant and an antique shop and the upstairs was converted into four apartments.
